This little one is CUTE CUTE CUTE… especially the drool.
Thanks Tara and Jason for letting me capture Jaden’s personality! Enjoy!
Every time I finish a family session, I think to myself: How lucky am I to be invited into people's homes and lives to capture the magic that happens in everyday life! Welcome to the Studio JE Blog - Between the Pixels - where you'll find out a little bit about me, my work, and my life. Sneak peeks will be posted from my latest sessions and you also see plenty of my two kids and our family adventures. Pour yourself a cup of your favorite beverage and stay awhile! Make sure to bookmark this page or subscribe for updates, and leave me comments if it strikes your fancy. Thank you for spending a little part of your day with me. Cheers! ~Joy

It’s hard to believe, but the holidays are right around the corner! I am going on vacation in December, so all holiday sessions need to be completed by November 15th. Schedule your session early to reserve the best timeslot, as the weather can become unpredictable as we move into the late fall. Although you are welcome to book a regular session, these holiday packages are designed to offer extra value in the products that most people look for in holiday photos.

Teehee, I couldn’t resist — I bet they get that ALOT! This little one just turned 6 months old and I was granted the privilege of shooting his 6 month portraits. He was blessed with his mom’s gorgeous big eyes and was a great sport at 8 am in the morning when the rest of us were still waking up, lol. Here is your sneak peek, Jason and Tara. Thank you for having me over. I’ll be working on the rest of your proofs soon!
Sorry I have been slacking on the blog posts lately! I got a new laptop recently and have been trying to migrate all my information, programs and files over to the new one. Although the new one is much faster, I also went for an upgrade on my editing software, which is causing a new learning curve for me! I am lovin’ it, though… hopefully I can get my proofs done a bit more quickly this way.
Speaking of getting proofs done, here FINALLY is Clark’s slideshow. Jen and Steve - I’m so sorry it took me so long. I hope you enjoy these!
As you read below, I attended my high school reunion last weekend. This morning, I was devastated to find out that a classmate was killed in a plane crash yesterday. This was a very dear man, the nicest of nice… and I will cherish the opportunity I had to catch up with him just 5 days ago… He leaves behind a wife and three children. Please join me in sending prayers to his family.
I have known Jen since she was a fresh-faced college student working as an intern at my office and I was mom to a newborn Nick. Now she’s a wife and a mom and I am so thrilled to be able to photograph her sweet little boy who is turning 1 next month! Jen-you are a great friend and I’m glad we’ve stayed close all these years (through all the drama - wink wink). Clark is just adorable and you are doing a great job as a mom — here is your sneak peek and I’ll have the rest of your pics done soon!
This weekend I attended my 20 year high school reunion - Class of 88 is great! I had a BLAST getting reconnected with old friends. We had a wonderful, close class. I know everyone thinks their class was close, but we really were, and this weekend proved it. I feel extremely blessed to be part of a group of friends who are such great people — and so proud to have been part of something so special that it has endured the years. We had both a dinner and family picnic… here are a few snapshots.
Hi Joy,
That is a gorgeous pic!! Not that I am biased or anything
I am so chuffed already…I can’t wait to see the rest of the proofs!
See you soon!
